VUW: a pattern of harassment

Mentioned the Carmen book on Facebook. Thought people knew that story already. Chronologically, it's the middle one, but it's the most interesting. Michelle Cameron got a job at VUW in 2022, and at some point that year I found out that VUW had Carmen's memoirs in their library. She borrowed it, then gave it to me. After a few days, she tells me that it's due back early for some reason - she wasn't a student, so a student had reserved it - and that makes me have to schlep up to return it. By this point, I'd written the Weeded Out draft (I think). I've generally had an antipathy for the university, so the last time I'd been to the campus was for a cannabis event in 2019 that Chloe spoke at. - I go up there, and couldn't help but think of whether filming the show there was a good idea, then I saw someone that I thought was an inspiration for one of the characters, and got asked for a light by some dude smoking behind a building. Felt a bit creepy, like a LARP. That pattern is often how I'd describe people that lobby me. - The ones regarding Salina are just a concert and an event that she hosted. She'd probably admit that she wants me to come back to uni, and that 2021 event was very much about telling me to forgive Jake, plus also that they didn't believe me. The 2023 event was pretty unsubtle. All the attendees except Elliot and myself were either NZSM students or faculty. Like, nobody ever forced me to come back, but that was the unspoken intent.
