Well, I've won, so these are the terms. If I am to return to attending gigs as a journalist, then here's the basic requirements:

  1. Public acknowledgement of the conversion therapy attempt will occur. That's ultimately what the boycott is about.

  2. An end to pressure to perform my music, or any other music.

  3. Consistent dignity in all contexts.


That doesn't seem so hard, so make it happen. - As for performing: that requires personal apologies from half of Wellington. That doesn't mean orchestra gigs: that just means parlour guitar or jazz. ie my weed club repertoire.
