Would you have ever harassed a cisgender writer or director the way that you've behaved about my refusal to make Weeded Out? Being bummed that I didn't make it was fine, but calling the FTAC on me wasn't. If you're wondering what tipped my mental health over the edge in 2023, it was y'all. I was able to cope when I was working for RNZ, but refusing to be Tina got me fired. From my POV, the wānanga was helpful last year, but wasn't influential enough to actively prevent people from corrupting my classroom to coerce me. Natzees, VUW and the Weeded Out brigade all took shots at me. - That, Verity, is why I hate Tory: she turned my life into a living hell. It's sorta hard to describe how it feels to have the mayor really angry at you, but it's not a picnic, and she said as much on Q&A, so it wasn't in my head. - Instead of cutting deals behind my back, meet me and talk to me. It's pointless otherwise.
