You can tell me till the cows come home that I should or must do the Tina script, but I'd point out that continuing to pressure me actually represents an instance of politicians attempting to pervert the editorial independence that we typically think of as highly important for our journalists and broadcasting institutions. You can't promise me a funding decision; that's actually really wrong on an ethical level. One of the critiques that is easy to lob at Chloe is that documentaries about her have proliferated, mostly funded by NZ on Air or the Film Commission. That's an instance where it's obvious that her contacts in the media mean that there's lots of people that think highly of her, and are prompted to create those hagiographies. - I'd also say that the film pros haven't been so keen on the idea of my editorial independence either. Everyone thinks I need improving to be more normal, whereas I'd say that it's my trans perspective that the virtue-signallers are salivating over. It's really dumb to say that I should sing my songs because Don or Bret did, given that I've got a fairly good track record of writing songs for others to sing. I've also got a solid track record of producing good albums. That's my chosen venue for my Shipwrecked 2030 musical.
