To the anti-AI people

Working for Each Other couldn't have existed before AI. The songs are entirely human, and I wrote the incidental music. - Seems like sour grapes: Disney and Pixar are going down the tubes in terms of quality, while Paul and I made a decent animated film on a budget of under $50,000. Probably under $10,000. The Queer Fantasia/Transtasia only cost a few thousand too. - It's not like we made a scripted movie and pretended as if the animation was human. The film was experimental, including in the use of AI loops. The opening titles are very clear that the film uses AI art. AI was usually raw material constructed in response to the song, but edited by us. We were going for a surreal film, and AI has opened up extra doors for that genre. We're not using it to replace people: we're doing things most people can't envision, or are too cowardly to say in the open. - As you can see, Tilly Norwood wasn't that great, but Circumventing Death was. That's all.

Lots of people resisted CGI. This is much the same. Paul reckons that the film cost £4500.

Most of that went into clearing IP and accessing my stems for Paul's overdubs.
