Yeah, still haven't seen S3 of Starstruck. Probably won't. I appreciate the nods to me, but programming my channel = me rewatching the stuff that I'm posting in order to calibrate AMPP for my wealthy allies.

I'll tell you the same thing I've told every producer about Weeded Out: I refuse to act, and I'm pretty sour on the idea of directing because I just made a movie that covered most of that ground (and was ten times more fun with my real mates than a film crew).

I'm 100% happy for people to buy the script, so long as I retain a story by credit.

That's the real prize for me: big name brown NZers in the credits, but story by me the Pākehā trannie. Because then people will wonder 'what story? This is just real life, isn't it?'

They'll google me, and ideally the releases will synchronise so that my book is out at the same time as the movie (whatever it might be called).

You're a rich TV star. I'm sure that you could find a fee that I would think reasonable.

Plus you're still a working comic. You probably pull in a high five-figure income.

I mean, if you buy it off me, you're virtually assured to get the NZFC to pay for the movie and they might even reimburse you for optioning the script out of your own pocket.
