Given I just exposed your evil secrets on DeviantArt, this will be the last lesson. - Lady, you don't have the first clue about projected voices. It's impossible to sustain a straight tone over an orchestra, sorry! Choirs require dozens of people to do that. You could go to Whakamana and see how you do. I'm not belting out every note, and the phrase actually has a dynamic range (unlike modern shows). That's why you're attracted to my voice. The sustain is something that I see as optional for things like These Words or patter, as those are essentially parlando. A better singer could sustain it more easily, but I could if I'd felt like there was a crowd large enough to go 100% (this is like 70-80%). - God, I hate listening to mic'd show singers 'sustain' their belt. It sounds like needy desperation, and that isn't my vibe. - And as for the thin vibrato and ornamentation, it's called lilting. It's a Gaelic thing, and it's also very audible on Judy Garland records. Check out Hugh Martin's book, and the passage where he says that Judy began the entire cycle of pop singers yelling instead of singing. The entire reason you used all that porn shit was because I've got more talent in my voice than your entire band has. Barbara hasn't seen this, but I'm sure that both her and Phillip would agree that I've become very good. - Playing guitar and singing is much more difficult than piano. As Phillip said memorably during the recording session or rehearsals for Younger Than Springtime, I've got to worry about five voices being in perfect tune (JI, not ET). Pianists aren't in control of the tuning of the piano. Every move I make alters the intonation, and that's true whether it's classical, folk or jazz-rock. The frets aren't actually delimiting the note perfectly. The distance between my fretting and plucking hands, as well as vibrato and other fretting hand techniques, do indeed make very subtle changes that are the difference between 'in' and 'out' of tune. And that's in the context of a particular phrase, not note by note. - Re: the porn. You two are the absolute worst. What in the hell possessed you to lend your names, or actively participate, in that garbage where you told me to be Tina or suffer your wrath? Everyone else feels like shit about what happened to me, except you two. That tells me you probably were the ones telling Tory what to think, and may well have been the ones that co-ordinated the 2022 hui... Your lies ruined my life. Goodbye forever.
