Dissent is not now. nor has it ever been, illegal.
Traditional media might be dying, but this zine-style thing is expanding.

Regarding Victoria University of Wellington: I really hate their Town Hall ideas. I really hate all the scrimping and saving, because that's essentially shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.
They were quite clear with their intentions to fire most of my allies (and enemies); that's hardly the time to rally around a bunch of wankers. If they're so concerned with the survival of the NZSM, why don't they simply shop around for other institutions to share that load (like it was when I was a student)?
I expressed those views. That's not illegal. Everyone will recall me saying those things. - I feel like their clamour for me to be just another drag queen is related to the sharpness of my satire. People thought I was socially challenged, but those skits are spot-on, and that's probably why Chris Luxon and Winston are avoiding me. Hopefully that double feature version works well, but if it's ungainly then I'd recommend watching the three films that I specify in my Ad. Either way, yet again I burst past the censor and provide mature content to a broad audience: I wish that people would realise that I'm more than a sex object, though that's difficult given the way that trannies are sexualised by others. I'm hoping those Wellington Stories films and my book change that perception, and then people start taking me seriously as a writer and critic.
If one were to take the temperature of how liberal the debating chambers are since this change in government: I'd say that my continued presence suggests that the broad majority are socially aware and in favour of sensible law reform on the issues that I discuss. Essentially, sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. That's my political niche.
