Well, my cartoons weren't really meant to suggest that Meng Foon or Ashley Bloomfield were politicians, but I think that the public sector is inherently politicised, and all that guff about apolitical public servants is a convenient lie that people choose to believe. I think that the right is politicising it currently, which is interesting given how much time they've spent attacking the left bloc for doing that. That Minister for Regulation role is essentially a political choice, and a concession to ACT's vision of selling off more assets and privatising public sector responsibilities. - This isn't the first time that I've thought that David Seymour is somewhat hypocritical.
