Suspension of disbelief

Until the recent age of identity-based themes, it was part of the bargain of plays or films that they might present views that the authors didn't endorse. I haven't had any death threats levelled at me from non-Destiny people, so I'd say that most of us are able to hold that cognitive dissonance and enjoy the opera.
