Stop salivating

as if I'm suddenly going to decide to play my Preludes. No, I don't want to. The Calling isn't very long, but even so, I'd rather have someone else record it; this is just a DIY version for a demo. I'm not doing Pan's Preludes because I'm busy with other projects. It'll keep: I think that even if it took another several years to convince someone to play it, it'd still sound fresh. - I think that my version of the climate chorus wasn't great, and that's why I asked Barbara to record a demo. I'm not going to agree to recording a rock album with me singing all the songs: no, we're going to do it properly, with different singers for each of the roles (and ideally without me singing on any of the tracks). If you want to listen to my demos, that's fine, but it's not really a musical if nobody else sings... that's why I'm insisting on my 2030 story and insisting on doing a proper album. I refuse to sing them for an album. I'll only do it if you let me cast a full cast and we do the dialogue so that the story comes across. - Honestly, I want all the backseat drivers to stop, to email me properly and then to try again.

I want VUW to accept that I'm not returning, and there's nothing they can say to persuade me as I'm apparently allowed to bag on institutions to my heart's content. 🤣

Now that my art policies are available, I think it's obvious that I have a different vision. - Despite your attempts to manipulate me, my childish stubborness about IP comes from a real place of being aware that it's important to fight over ownership of things as potentially valuable as screenplays, and I've enjoyed pointing out that I own the rights. You may have stalked me for years, but ultimately I wrote every note, lyric, dialogue and action line, and therefore I can say no to people who want to alter my scripts. I don't feel a need to rebuild my name or to make amends. I think those people hated me then, dislike me now, but wish that they could 'own' Pan's Preludes to make them seem hip and tolerant. Whereas I get that cred from having written the preludes thanks to NotePerformer. 👋
