I disagree - I'd say I accompanied Chloe's speech. It's not like I had this musical canvas and just stole fragments of her speech. The speech was the main thing, and I added some of my loose tracks to the spooky theremin loop to heighten the drama. - If I'm allowed to write as if she's been playing along: I initially only set the shorter version, then I got the sense she wanted me to do the full speech. That's what I mean by 'she twisted my arm' - I get the sense the trippy VFX piss her off and she'd rather it was pure Waking Life, but I think the audience appreciates those. 🐸
