I remember that Clarke Gayford wrote an article ages ago about the split of hippies vs. posh in rural NZ. Most people won't care. The Defence Force are actually one of the most trans-tolerant groups in NZ. It's 2026. I've been harassed before, but I'm not going to be arrested.
To BHN: 'gender-affirming' is usually seen as hormones + surgeries, but there's other views. For me, hormones usually alter one's singing voice. It's not an option. Very few opera singers that are trans use them. Pronouns make a difference. But I'm fa'afafine rather than trans.
