Well, I saw Tory on the news (from a few days ago). That's interesting, but of course she'd say that as the Mayor.


It's totally different from my perspective as a fellow activist, though obviously Gary's a tactical genius, so our protests tend to be supported by the powers-that-be. - I'm not really in favour of glueing people to the roads or rail lines, but I reckon it's one of those things where the tactics that mainstream NZ find acceptable aren't creating change. From what I've read, they're still letting ambulances through, so I don't think that they're intentionally endangering critical services. - As for 'aspirational' demands -- I think people will hum a different tune if the Greens and Māori parties enfranchise the disenfranchised voters this Election. 18.46% percent of eligible Kiwis didn't vote in Election 2020. That's probably also why the cannabis referendum was defeated. 👋 That's 655, 094 people, for those who prefer those sort of numbers.
