In my world, most people seem to reckon that they can tell their kids what to watch. Some of my stuff is for kids, some is for grownups. They prefer to make that call. Meta didn't even send me an email about it. It was perfectly legal. The lyrics are explicit, but matter-of-fact. Yes, it was about me, but it wasn't like I was having sex with Barbara. They were just songs. I intended the cycle to depict a long-distance relationship. We sang, but nothing happened. She likes me, but she was married.

As I've said before, I was into Lauren. She was the closest thing to a girlfriend in that period. She knew Hannah from high school, but she wasn't tight with Barbie. I think there was a bit of jealousy from Barbara's end, but that's all.
