Trashed another hard drive. 2 in less than a week; yes, they're all pirated material, but honestly NZ law is simply different regarding that stuff. I sincerely hope that Stephen hasn't trashed the POAK hard drives, because those have the BTS footage (unless Michelle K has a backup). And I think that's a doco worth making, though I probably wouldn't watch it myself -- it's like watching another person. -

Ed I screened because they had rights issues, which are why the VHS torrents are the only available version of the entire series. Which is a shame - it's way better than Scrubs.

While Thirtysomething I'd buy the DVD's just for the S1 making-of clip. But ultimately, I've already made several features, and that clip is more useful for people who are making their first one. I have Bro'Town S1 and The Billy T. James Show on DVD, and there's a good torrent for the other seasons of Bro'Town. - Of the Kiwi films, one I like to recommend is The Heart of the Stag with Bruno Lawrence. Really disturbing, and quite a nice score (by an American). Footrot Flats is probably my favourite of the 1980's movies, with the Geoff Murphy trilogy trailing behind (Goodbye Pork Pie, Utu, The Quiet Earth). My brother and my Dad both said Vigil sucked, so I've never seen it. An Angel At My Table is a masterpiece, but it's a international hit more than a local movie. I'm not a massive Campion fan -- until I saw Angel At My Table, I thought she was overrated. Smash Palace is awesome, but it's a bloke movie. - Aro Video has Bread and Roses on DVD, but there was a WWII movie I wanted to watch (with Robyn Malcolm) that they only had a VHS copy of. 😀

That's Michelle's story, both in the past and over the last several years. It's fiction, but it's close enough to the truth.

'just overdub Shipwrecked: make it an album'

No. The SIS and other pissed-off groups will need to stop forcing me to compromise. If I'd wanted to sing the songs myself, I wouldn't have written a script. I'd much rather hear Ella or Ingrid sing

Inferring some clues from The Guardian. Apparently, industry professionals thought that the lengthy post-production process for the four Disney/Sony Beatles films was suspicious. It was supposed to
