Yes, I know that pirating on Facebook is hella illegal, but I don't give a shit. The odds of being extradited to the US are vanishingly low. This isn't Kim Dotcom pirating the latest blockbusters: it's obscure movies and the occasional classic, with pathetic views. -


I'm aware that virtually none of you are as into those cartoon sitcoms as I am.


Don't care. That's my thing. Possibly the Front Lawn guys get it too.


For me, the part of the Dakumentary that really makes me proud is the animation stuff.

Like, it's quite an accomplished piece, but it's also a one-off that couldn't be repeated.


Hopefully, 20 years from now when everyone smokes dope and booze isn't as popular, we'll look back and laugh.

I mean, if I put my whole library on Plex and shared it with Drew or another American critic, that'd be 'legal' enough? The brazenness of my stunt was the point. I was so sick of external links to YouTube or Dropbox, and it took Facebook quite a while to notice my little media channel. If I hadn't advertised those Dakumentary episodes, I doubt they'd ever have known.

Why are the odds so low? Because I'm a famous film director. They'd never prosecute me, as the studios are still betting on me to make a picture.
