Piracy and my attitude towards it

Honestly, I secretly hope that there are pirate productions of my musicals. For me, it's only a problem if their production becomes a hit: then I'd want a cut! 🤣 Now that the full score is available online, it's definitely possible for people to stage productions of Portrait of a Knight. I'm not sure about Some Kind of Love and whether there's a script that people could use: I figure Emanuel would know. My These Words Are Meant For Someone orchestrations are synthpop, but the PV score is available, and people could arrange it (I'm not picky because I was commissioned to write it as a piano score, so that was my focus). I could probably make backing tracks for some of my renditions available. It was very spur-of-the-moment, so I didn't save all of my synth tracks. - My attitude is essentially that if people are interested in my scores, that's good, and I'm certainly keen to hear a full production of These Words with two fully legit singers. But it's not necessarily that: one thing I love about the song cycle is that it's effective without necessarily containing all the songs (like my version). I'm sort-of hopeful that some of those songs might become like arias that classical voice students train on. Particularly Reverie: I love that song. Generally, I'm hoping that my NZ accent revolution takes hold. - I figure that's how I'd travel, btw. As a composer attending productions of pieces that I've written: that's how most composers travel. I'm not really keen to go to the Northern Hemisphere, though; I figure that if the borders closed again, I'd be really fucked. Or attending film screenings. That's also a possibility.
