People tend to like what they want, not what they need

I'm not programming the classical music to sneer or show off how I like dissonance. It's a richer emotional palette than pop and rock, and that's why my pieces take on a mythic tone. I think there's a certain segment of the audience which has little time for my fairy folklore lectures, though, and that's probably the one my slice-of-life weed life script connected with. However, I can't see how that would bust the status quo... maybe I'm blind to those things as a Wellingtonian, where even my half-arsed trans activism works well. I felt like the Auckland trannies were fronting a lot harder than me. I think that with some support from the scientists, my 2030 script could really be chilling and plausible. It's great to be a Kiwi, as it keeps the scale of the fight scenes realistic. A few hundred people in a farmyard somewhere... that's the sort of vibe Bad Taste had.
