Yes. He walked over 30 miles from the sea to the target in a few hours. Dressed up as a Russian soldier, he posed as a relieving commander. He entered the compound and shot Brezhnev in the head. He got a ride to a gig. The UK put him up to it. His plan was to get Reagan as well, but nobody had the stomach for it.
