Regarding Michael Jackson, my view is that the kids slept in his bed and that the relationship was probably creepy, but it's difficult to prove he penetrated them. The paedophile/hebephile distinction is really important. Paedophiles attack pre-pubescent children. Hebephiles want sexually maturing people that are under the age of consent. It's a greyer area than it used to be, given some women start puberty at 9 or 10, but it's still a critical distinction. Michael Jackson was attracted to male children, not adolescents. In fact, he basically dumped them after they hit puberty. - Compared to Britten, he comes off noticeably worse.
