I don't care that the Film Commission and some pros are keen for So Far (the Tina story). I own the rights and I have said no to any ideas of using the Shipwrecked songs in that story. That's bullshit, and shows a lack of vision. - Everyone will accept I own the IP, and trying to use my drug dealing as leverage to make me take a deal is wrong. I own it, and if they want that story, they can buy it (but not the songs 😤). They have to accept that I own my songs and I own my stories - treating me like a pro who has spent years developing those ideas and truly does own 100% of them. I've said which things I'm willing to part with, and the interested parties can come to the negotiating table and negotiate with me. - I disagree entirely with the premise that NZ needs a positive story right now. If they want that, they can watch Red, White and Brass or whatever other feel-good crap the Commission is pumping out. But the reasons the Auckland floods were so devastating are the reasons why I'm so interested in Shipwrecked on Islands: complacency and performative protests that didn't change the climate laws are the reason all that happened. I think NZ needs a kick up the arse, and my 2030 climate change story is designed to have that effect. While So Far is just so people who weren't there for me and actually despise me can steal my hard work. That's fine; they just have to pay for my IP and accept I'm not playing Tina and I won't direct Cassandra. I won't, and they can make their own movie without me. - No stage work. No So Far. I'm making Shipwrecked and you will ALL accept those songs are for that musical only.

As for my rants: again, make sure you're not confusing me with my twin. Most of the nasty stuff was him. Not Michael Riddell - I mean my real twin, Stephen Patrick Riddell. He's the one who believes in all the crazy shit. - As for an audio drama: possibly, but again NOT with the Shipwrecked songs. I want that story to use folk songs. Not my songs. Real folk songs. No TV. No Movie adaptation. And, seriously, Red Scare doesn't own one word of my script. Buy me out means buy me out.
