my two cents about the Runway AI

It's alright; it's a hell of a cool novelty trick, but it's probably (at best) one of the VFX layers for the Plaything -- that's presuming I buy the thing for the 15-second clips. It's not going to be much use for anything else, except pre-viz. The rotoscoping is still a more viable animation style for VFX that track motion accurately -- I think that's the benefit of using a mechanical process to render the animation, rather than the black box. This tool might be automatable for photo renders (which is what rotoscoping is), so that's something to look into.
