my political goals

Well, it's mostly about sex, drugs and society. Legalise everything, and prepare for a radical future that's likely to be very bleak.
It's strange: I'm fairly sure that Tory supports the safe consumption centre idea, but it's probably something like it's bad optics for her to champion such a place.
I mean, it's the renters that voted for Tam, and probably Tory as well.
Her job is to satisfy the ratepayers, though, while Tamatha's is to satisfy Chloe and Marama.

My attitude: the city loves my cartoons, but finds my politics annoying.
Hence the line regarding that in Just Like Yesterday. -
These new cartoons are shifting that perception, though. Talk about a fluke, and also something that people thought was objectionable as a script, but was quite successful as AI cartoons. 🟠
One of my mantras is never trust the audience. They tell you what they want, but they seldom tell you what they need. So yeah, I do consider opinions and I do ask for feedback from people, but it's not like I address their suggestions by default.
My attitude is that I think the Dakumentary surprised all of us. Like, I was fairly clear with Chloe and Gary that I planned to do that instead of my screenplay, and they were both comfortable with that (to a certain extent).
But yeah, it's such a deep film. My fictional stuff is more comic, though there's some great jokes in movie orgy 2. Chloe seems particularly enthused, or at least that's the impression that I get: she thinks it's a really accurate portrayal of her.
And Jacinda wants to do the same thing... that's giving birth to a style. 👁️
