Has always been a fascination of mine. An early memory I have is imagining tunes when I was eating gingernuts in the supermarket. I've always been able to do it: it's just one of those gifts, much like the mental imagination that allows tunes to pop into one's head.

My brother and I were really into Bobby McFerrin and the Real Group when we were teens, so we'd sing along or emulate some of those records. Sinatra and G&S was another obsession.
