Even though I hadn't been a student for several years, my story was interpreted in that context, as the perp had been studying there more recently, writing a Master's thesis that he bounced off of me, and that I put a lot of thoughts into. VUW believed that I made up being sexually assaulted. That's pretty pathetic. Perhaps Amanda coming out surprised everyone, but it wasn't illegal to be trans. It's reasonable to expect dignity, despite being a weirdo. -


Jake Church has to accept that he violated my boundaries. Traditionally, you kiss someone that you love, rather than poking them.

He does, I'm sure, but he kept lying to people, including Joel. -


To me, it's like the NZSM was complicit in covering up his behaviour, which was consistently dodge around both men and women (unwanted touching etc).

When I have a few too many beers, I usually whine in my room. As a result of this, VUW must accept that their bullying nearly killed me, and didn't result in my return to an institution that fired loads of music staff to save a building or two.
