Look, if you're going to threaten me over IP, make sure that you own it. Weeded Out is my legal property, not yours. Sorry: that's how copyright works. My original songs are registered with APRA. The script is timestamped. If the Film Commission gave out money, then they have egg on their face. If SPADA backed up the fraud, they've got more than egg on their face. It doesn't matter how much money you offer me, or how long you delay things. My lawyers already have my inheritance: it's over. - I've signed the documents regarding Olga's estate. I'm getting $400,000. This allows me to file an injunction, so I will. Regardless of whether you'll admit in court that you stole my IP, I've got some very strong evidence that the Weeded Out script is the subject of threats and harassment. My recommendation is that Mr. Barr and his team slink away. Then it's merely the ongoing criminal investigation that they'll need to tend to... Why are they mad? Injunctions are a High Court proceeding. I'm sure that even someone like me can get some journalists to cover the story. As I keep saying, write your own Weeded Out and fund that. All I'm emphasising is that you can't take Film Commission money for my version. - My songs and film script titled Shipwrecked on Islands are in development. That process began in 2021. It's the reason I got to write a Beatles film. - Sir Peter wouldn't have let me write a script if he thought it was an IP breach. It boils down to a simple truth: Sir Paul hated the Disney/Sony film. He hated it so much that he decided to thumb his nose at their contracts, particularly as he alleges that they were faked signatures. He hated that you guys couldn't sing and all the jukebox musical bullshit. We put songs into real scenes, but only diegetically. In the world of Beatles Invade New Zealand, the guys play music in hotel rooms. Jersey Boys was the point of comparison for your film. Paul hated Beatlemania so much he sued them for millions. Nancy's mistake was thinking that Paul was some doddery old man. The Beatles was - and is - a whole lot more than four guys in a band in the 1960's. That's all. The whole circus is fabulously wealthy or uninterested in money. Maybe that's why I like them.
To be clear, I've brought up the notion of an injunction with my Mum. I'm hoping that ARL have dug into it. Sent my Mum evidence that I was blackmailed... That was a new low imo, even after all the crap my brother's done (or I've done).
