Well, from reading the Weeded Out script, you'd know that I believe that people contain multitudes and that identity is a very narrow lens which ignores socioeconomic factors. The Dakumentary is more positive: that's mostly the Chloe clips. There's plenty of deep digging into the social and economic factors that promote drug use and drug abuse too. The fact is simple: I wasn't prepared to take notes from people that have never considered me as their equal, and that's all regarding why I decided to make the documentary - which didn't result in me getting paid - over the screenplay that people were considering giving me a bucketload of money to produce. I'm hugely proud of the Dakumentary, and I'm not interested in acting. That is all. That is fair. I don't want to act; I don't want to perform; I just spent a year making a film in direct opposition to the desires of the Government. That was hard, and now I'm relaxing. - There is no possiblity of me performing Tina on stage or screen. That is off the table. I will never consent; you don't have the legal rights to the script or my songs, and the only answer that you can accept is Amanda, the sole rights holder, refusing to licence her fresh material to bigots that told her to tone it down and be a man. Those entreaties = no deal.

There is no way of persuading me. Tina is dead, and Amanda is very alive.

- There is no other legally valid outcome. That is the simple truth. There is only one deal on the table: $50,000 outright for the rights to the screenplay. That is the only offer that I'm willing to make. That is the offer that VUW can accept. That doesn't include me starring: that's simply to rework the script in the way that they want to with ANY OTHER TRANS PERSON. They cannot have my body or my voice. That is final. That is simply the legal truth: I can set whatever terms I like, and these are the terms. $50,000 for the script: take it or leave it, dickheads that stalk my page.

And no, the new Government doesn't make me want to be Tina. It makes me want to cash in on the new-found sense of insecurity to get Shipwrecked 2030 over the line.

Which is obviously my plan: I recently advertised a reading of Shipwrecked, and I also very clearly marked that I am writing a book which includes the Tina stories. So, if you want the experience of meeting the trannie, then wait until my book tour or when I eventually present at Select Committees. 🏳️‍⚧️

Some of those AM presents skits are also finding their way into Shipwrecked.. that's the connection between those two ideas.
