I'm not a rock star

Yeah, I realise that's how people see me, but it's not how I see myself. 👍
I see myself as more like ALW than Sondheim in terms of how I promote myself, which is sort of like a rock star, but without being the performer.
I mean, I'm a better guitar player than ALW is a pianist, so obviously my demos are entertaining, but yeah I prefer other singers to sing my material.

I get the sense Barbara is keen to sing Machine Fatigue, though I really wrote that song about Michelle C; I sent B the early demos of that and Glad They Were Playing.
Plus there's the Rose song. I could do guitar arrangements of the POAK songs: If It Were Real was mostly written at the guitar, but the 2023 Election is my priority this year.

Election ideas: well, I asked Gary to include me in the kōrero with Chlöe, so we'll see if that happens. I made the loop version of Pan's Preludes, so maybe that can go into her show.
I've got the caricatures to wrap up, and also the folk songs to set to those GIFS.
Plus I'd be keen to do a BTS-style doco about the road trip.
I'm not really keen to make any more Fresh Culture's because: a) Stephen tainted the brand, and b) I realise they're PR puff pieces, and I'm more keen to do my punk films.
I need an Ad as crack-up as the 1996 McGillicuddy Serious Party - I asked Ethan to come up with skit ideas: https://www.ngataonga.org.nz/set/item/190

Hopefully I'll come up with a fresh campaign song, but if the Greens want to use Shipwrecked on Islands, I'd be happy to let them.
Particularly if they fork out for the studio recording. 👍
