I hate cleaning

Like, seriously: I'm actually good at it, but I despise doing it. If someone wants to avoid cooking, then I might avoid cleaning. To be honest, when I was in charge of this at the Wallace flat, I persuaded my brother to hire a cleaner. It's really quite affordable if you pay on a fortnightly basis, and it honestly saves dozens of fights that otherwise would have happened between flatties (or partners).

I'm not a terrible cook, but I'm a really boring cook: I follow recipes to the letter, or as best I can. There was a chocolate pudding that I enjoyed making, along with meat-and-three-vege staples that we cooked when I was a teenager. Vegan food... well, let's say that I'm open-minded. It's not a particular passion of mine: I figure that the climate savings that I make by barely travelling counteract my desire to eat meat. 🥩

cleaning services in urban NZ are roughly $55/hour. Minimum of 3hrs $245 + GST. I swear, it made a huge difference at 104 Wallace Street. Everyone quit whining! 🤣
