How left-wing am I?

Somewhere in the middle... I'm for most of the classic left ideas (ie the welfare state, universal healthcare, free education), but my solutions are probably less extreme than some.
Plus my own feeling that free speech should mostly trump notions of good taste or manners, which aligns me with the libertarians.
I think ACT goes too far, though: the cringe of David Seymour mangling Te Reo in the House to try and legitimise his 'two people, two laws' argument said it all about how stupid his ideas were.

My ideas about environmental policy have generally radicalised since 2017, and I think my futuristic musical outlines some of those ideas (plant hemp, not pines; give land back to Indigenous owners).
-
Then there's my drug policy ideas, which are straightforward - legalise everything!
I think we should build towards a not-for-profit market that allows independent social clubs, as well as the dispensaries I saw in Uruguay during Paddy's On Weed film.
I think the state should control more of the supply itself, though, rather than all those hundreds of millions of overseas dollars that were invested in medical cannabis by opportunists.
Then there's the problem of building safe inner-city rave spaces, which is essential for the future. I think those would probably decimate the illicit market if they provided reliable drugs and had medically trained people around.
My attitude is very urban, I know, but that's where I live. 👋
