We saw you were speaking as we got our phones etc. -- watched the speech at home. I feel like I threw you off slightly. I love this dress, but it's definitely one that makes a statement. ☘️ -

For the pollies generally:

See - the bearded lady thing is quite different. I can see why Wellington were surprised, but yeah I think my saga mostly revealed the latent bigotry of straights. The gingerness of the beard is pretty awesome imo.

I think those who saw me today can see why I came out that way. I look good in the clothes: that's what I learned dressing privately, and what made me think I could come out with my beard initially.


I'll probably shave it for next week, as it's getting to a thickness that's difficult to maintain without special beard-trimming equipment. I'm not as strict as Gary or Dakta - I get haircuts and shaves, but keep the length long. 👍


It takes about 2 weeks to grow, so if you give me some notice, I can grow it whenever.
