Greens vs. Tikanga

Well, I pointed out clearly that Tory's hui didn't give me the opportunity to reply with a performance of my own. That's not tikanga: everyone gets a chance at the paepae, manuhiri and tangata whenua alike. This is my basic knowledge - the paper starts in early March - but their interactions with me have largely been through everything but kanohi ki te kanohi, and every time that they persuade/force me to attend a hui, I never get a real chance to discuss the shit that they believe about me or their opinions of my actions. As for upholding my mana and dignity: no, they've seldom done that. Chloe's event in 2023 was good, but the rest sucked. - Newsflash: reciprocity and restorative justice aren't just words to trot out when you feel as if your personal attributes are being attacked, they're a legal practice that should apply to everyone (even if you find my views reprehensible). Given the huge song and dance you shits have made about my behaviour, much of which was ill-informed, I'm entitled to say that you called me a fake trannie and a perv, and this happened more than one time. If I was on your team, you'd have supported me, but your penchant for building up straw men resulted in a series of actions by the party that could be reasonably seen as deliberate attempts to invalidate me. - So, let's fix this. Make Tory and Nadine sit in a room with me. Make Sarah apologise for overreacting to my emails. Let's find our common ground while maintaining our independence. How about investing in AMPP?
That's the core part of Te Ao Māori: people are supposed to be able to debate robustly, and to handle different styles of communicating, rather than instantly preparing for war.
Otherwise, mana is essentially a representation of karma. Doing the right things, which is what tikanga actually means, results in people respecting you. Doing the wrong things = war.
