Gary had a positive spin on this, which was that you'll both be available for your communities, but yeah: my own opinion is that a seat in Parliament is the most effective tool for anyone. I'm fairly confident that the drug law reform will progress, but I'm somewhat hopeful that interviewing Appleby will remind people of the 20th century and the 50 years of the War on Drugs.
