Faking the Beatles

I'd say that I only truly nailed the vocals on Can't Buy Me Love, particularly the hook line. Paul likes to play the naif, but he was quite a good choral singer. He was rejected by the cathedral choir, but sang in school just like me. I was learning to read bass clef as I learned to sing, but that was 60 years later. He did almost all the backgrounds on the first two albums. Maybe he didn't know the names of the modes, but he could sure sing them. He probably knows their names now. I use music language, and he gets it. - As for the feel -- comes naturally to me. Jack Peters, my high school friend, was into basically every kind of rock, including The Beatles. We never jammed, but he had guitar skills enough for those tunes. I'd sing background vocals as he sang lead on Rock Band. We tried the Beatles Rock Band game, but it wasn't a favourite. Blackbird was one that I liked as a teen. There were a couple of Beatles songs on our Xbox playlist. - Skiffle really isn't a world away from what I did in high school. We did rocky songs in big band, and I was an excellent rhythm guitarist. My bass feel is a wee bit different, but it works. Emulating Ringo's drums is where the acid trip helped. - Moments Flow is about Linda. That was my view: he missed her. If I'm right, then Jane knew Linda well, hence the eerie accuracy. To judge from his official Facebook page, reliving his early 30s was tough.

In my experience, they laugh you off until the charges are serious and the police are investigating the pattern of harassment and threats. You don't even need a lawyer to attend mediation, yet they'l

They're not note-for-note; they're arrangements. If they're fooling people, that's funny but hardly intentional.
