That's how this feels, rather than tall poppy syndrome or being famous in the Taika *celebrity* sense of the word. And it's not even via legitimate channels...


It's not so much fun to be famous when you're the gutter trash hero. -


... cool, those asterisks worked this time! A few hundred old people with political affiliations watching my doco, and suddenly I'm essentially public enemy number 1 for the right wing. A lot of the classical gigs come with the implication that I need saving or rebuilding, while I think I just need a holiday. My schedule is more or less the same as the MPs, except I work fewer hours, and my non-politics time is spent writing and composing rather than whatever they do.

Trolling Tamaki is my favourite of the real-life protest bits this year, but if people teamed up on that pink mask idea that would be cool. - Travelling to North America isn't really on the agenda, but perhaps if people were keen to do something with the trilogy of musicals, I might visit.

Visiting the South Island is on the priority list.


Everyone's so surprised that I want to leave Wellington, but it's hardly a mystery if you're watching the Dakumentary. The town feels dead, and the elite are feeling the pinch too, if Tory's instance is seen as indicative of a trend.
