I don't like to criticise, but stop spotlighting grievance pieces by non-Māori.

That lady today read like a Han Chinese supremacist. I'm not denying that there's Chinese racism in NZ, but even in China there's racism. The Han are the colonisers that took over the place. The magazine is great as a place for Māori intellectual thought, but it's not really the appropriate forum to discuss racism as a whole. Appropriating that platform is actually a sign of cultural chauvinism. My best friend is Chinese, but she's the wrong kind to placate my nemeses. There's a huge difference between regions and cities, just like NZ. It's a delicate balance, and it's just not the place to discuss it. - Same with the other piece by the Massey professor. It's fine to spotlight Tangata Tiriti, but the thing is quickly becoming bad op-eds.

I've been dreaming for years of a Rabbits-style skit with comedians in foam outfits. Something that matches the surreal vibe of the AI skits.
