That's an option in New Zealand for minor offences, but producing a professional film in which all the workers are waged doesn't count as diversion. Sorry. If you knew anything about the law, you'd know that diversion = accredited tactics such as therapy or anger management. I wasn't charged or convicted of any crimes, and that's what really counts. It's actually illegal to say that a film counts as diversion. It's a professional gig, full stop.
