"compromise"

No. I offered valid and sensible compromises over a period of two years, and VUW + Steve Barr refused to consider purchasing my script and recasting. They're clearly in breach of the cease and desist letters written last year. - Your compromises, like 'letting' me direct after The Dakumentary was a hit, reflect that you never saw me as an equal partner in the creative process, even though the entire process was driven by me, and this is visible in the time-stamped scripts. Mr. Barr, SPADA, VUW and the Wellington Greens were put on notice earlier this year, and further 'negotiation' from these parties will result in court cases, both civil and criminal. Here's the only viable solution: Weeded Out dies, Amanda receives a full apology and meaningful compensation, or all these shits can try their luck in court and lose. A job offer isn't meaningful compensation. A fellowship isn't meaningful compensation. $70,000 is meaningful compensation for three years of manipulative bullshit. That's about equivalent to what I earn each year, though it's an undercount. (split several ways; it's about $10-15,000 each, or $22,500 between three groups. Plus emotional damages, and it's closer to $90,000 total) - Why? Because the script that you wish to purchase was written on spec. It wasn't part of my day job, hence you have to pay me for the IP. Because you breached my copyrights, you owe me an equivalent amount to the amount that team Barr was paid for their illegal rewrites. I'm expecting the Film Commission to apologise, then some type of arbitration measure being imposed that forces Steve to pay me at a rate that doesn't bankrupt him, but does recognise that all of those tens of thousands he was paid legally belong to me. - There is no valid case that the film was promised. No contracts exist. I wasn't paid for my script or songs, meaning their use is illegal. - Surely professional film people like Steve know that consideration is part of a contract. Even in NZ, you can't pay people nothing without some form of contract. Any version of a story set in Wellington that has a transfeminine person as a main character, particularly in a relationship with a Māori woman, is a breach of my IP. As I said, Cassandra should make it their star moment, given their desperation. Make it a Māori trans man and a Pākehā woman. - Michelle C, this has to die before you can film any of my films. Tell VUW that you're uncomfortable being the Amanda whisperer, and that they need to pay me fairly for breaching my IP, now that you know the truth. Get back in touch with me, and admit that you fudged the truth so that people wouldn't think that you really wanted to be with me, given my reputation in 2020-2024.

Why don't I overdub everything?

Quality of the song alone and all that jazz... Yes, I can harmonise, but every hit song sounds essentially the same these days. It's like special sauce. The naked demos were distinctive. Again, it wa
