Apparently Scorsese was coked-out while they made New York, New York. That's from the Biskind book. I've read his one about Miramax too. 👍


He seriously bonked Liza Minnelli, though. They were partners for a couple of years. -


I think Scorsese's coke addiction is something that people should emphasise re: his career.


I mean, even The Wolf of Wall Street owes to the fact that he genuinely knew how the drugs felt.


Marcia Lucas is one of the credited editors on New York, New York. That's interesting to me.

He fucked Isabella Rossellini too. That's an impressive track record, Martin. lol.


While I think of These Words as being like having sex in public (yes 🤣), ultimately the premiere was two women.


So, yes, I was fully aware of the lesbian subtext. That's why it was so much fun to rehearse.

When I was 17 and first digging into the musicals scores, Pacific Overtures was the one that impressed me the most.


Then Follies when I heard that (I didn't listen in chronological order).


Both Company and Sunday grew on me.

Look, I'm not interested in doing the gay story.


I'm honestly a bit sick of the gay scene; I'd rather write something asexual.


I don't foresee any sex scenes in Shipwrecked lol.


It's easy to mock 'the climate change musical' but I seriously believe in the ideology.

For those who are wondering: I've decided to bury more of my posts. So, if you follow my blog, you'll see it all, but I think publishing them to FB misses the point.

It's a bonus for the super-fans, essentially.


I'm not quite sure what I want to do with my business page this Election. I can see why people are encouraging me to make more shorts, but the tech difficulties aren't immediately surmountable. -


It's entirely possible that by August or September I might have a new laptop, but until then could everyone just give me a break from all the pressure?
