awkward heels

That’s what’s been happening with the Parliament hilarity. My skirt got caught on the neighbouring seat while switching sides on Tuesday! 🤣 When I wore the pink dress with sneakers that was more comfortable. I felt like dressing up for Parliament because it’s so formal, and I felt I should match Gary’s sartorial flair. I’m ok wearing heels, but I still stumble occasionally, and yesterday was a long day for heels and me. I felt good about the dress, though I'm working out what I want for my future wardrobe. - As for whether I move gracefully: yes, when I feel safe. While walking down Cuba St was a novelty for me; I avoided that street for all of 2021. I'm like a cop on the beat, there's places I go because they're safe and places which I frequent sporadically. It happens to be a time when some interesting legislation is happening, but I'm thinking that once-a-week for Parliament is easiest for me. I'm keen to see an evening session, because I haven't seen one since 2018. 👍
