Apple Corps vs. Liverpool

This is a statement from Stephen, Paul's archivist that I've been chatting with. I go by Amy for short; it's a diminutive of Amanda. 'We have never heard of these plans, and the idea of creating a new Dollywood isn't something that Apple Corps has any dreams of doing. Creative capture has been a theme for us this year, but the success of Paul and Amy's new films has given us some breathing room to protect the legacy of the Fab Four. Sony's production is on shaky ground, and invoking Paul's name shortly after he's put himself into cryogenic storage makes us deeply suspicious of the motives of those who are involved. Paul is legally dead for all intents and purposes, as is Ringo. The buzz around the office is that they've begun another Backbeat alongside their attempt to create another Beatlemania. We haven't been consulted, but we admit that there's no law against making films about pop stars; only using their songs illegally. Taking the Beatles into the future is the goal of projects like the Imagine Peace Museum, and the covers album that Paul produced with Amy this year. Amanda Happens To The Beatles was meant to be a free album, not a blatant cash grab. As Paul says in one of his last songs, there's no way of reclaiming the past. Further consultation is needed, but we're not happy with our brand being dropped into it.' Edit: they told me Stephen's the current CEO. Didn't realise that! - The anti-war left doesn't have many friends in the media. Most journalists are more or less parroting their press packs due to short-staffing. I saw it in The Guardian, but it was apparently all over the English news. The journos aren't to blame, but the owners of the newspapers are playing favourites. Paul is in storage; that was always his dying wish. - The obvious legal question is who benefits, and that is likely to be Disney. We've been saying for months - memorably in my animated skit - that Disney are the ones pushing for a Beatles quadrilogy. Now we know why... Stephen and John say that Apple Corps could be under their control by 2027. It all depends on who gets Paul's share of the company.

The Mersey Beat... what happens next?

As I've alluded to in the screenplay, the Mersey Beat is a polyrhythmic effect that centers around a constant pulse which entrains the listener. That means that the boys were never perfectly in sync;

Finally got given all the information. He shot up the school that he was setting up IT for. Sixteen deaths. He was in prison for assaulting Megan, but had a work release.

I really loved working on the songs with him. Great producer and musician. He was keen to conduct The Perfumed Garden.

Stella McCartney is the one behind this, so she's likely to be disinherited.
