Amanda vs. Wellington

Yes, always this. They literally kicked me out of town, so I'm going to take this moment to crow and preen and point out that they've all learned that they were wrong to make assumptions about my weed movie because they dislike me. It's all about the sense of superiority that Wellington brought to my Tina script that upset me... that might genuinely be the reason that I made the Dakumentary: because I was sick of the spies asking me boring questions. And the reason it upset me was that then during 2023 I finally got to learn what they really thought, and it was more or less what I suspected: that they thought I was retarded. -

I'm not. People never want to take trannies seriously as writers. That's genuinely true, and that's the eyes on me crap that I express in my porn. If I was 29, cis, white, and male, you ALL would have decided to option my script properly. As you didn't, I get to say no; I get to refuse, and I get to say 'my body isn't for sale' -

What the arts pros and the Wellington elite have discovered by interrogating me:

1. I Got Lost In Her Arms wasn't about Chloe Swarbrick. Like, not even a little bit.

Plus I haven't gotten over Eilish and Lauren; that's why Jo isn't a clone of Chloe.

2. That Jade was based on Michelle C, not Barbara. It wasn't about Piimio either. Plus that Sean was about Steven, Stephen (my twin), Eli, Elliot, Jeffery and NOT Jake (who has never lived with me). That Lucinda is my best friend, and hence probably Calliope, though I will admit that parts of Calliope were intended to annoy Salina, but had NOTHING to do with Cass.

3. I won the debate about my bulge. Yes, the bulge is legal. I currently live in a residential neighbourhood with a bucketload of schools, and I'm still wearing my dresses.🏳️‍⚧️ I hope that the pearl-clutching Wellingtonians have grown up a wee bit over this saga.

4. Dakta and Gary are both heterosexual. Jeffery dated a trans man, though; that's an example of queerness from the core team, plus Penny is bi. 🏳️‍🌈

5. That I'm bipolar and blame Salina (among other girls) for my anorexic fasting.

6. That I had strong negative feelings about Jane as well as positive ones.

7. I have the 'knack' for politics, and Amanda was a name I chose for Italian reasons rather than anything else that people presumed.

8. People shouldn't presume: it makes an ass out of u and me. 👍

I'd say that Amber is an influence on Calliope as well, but perhaps subconsciously. I don't think I've ever written a script or song that is *about* Amber. Movement 4 of the Chamber of Colours is my tribute to Amber; 'faglung' is a term for the Phillippine boat lutes.
