As far as I'm concerned, the battle is over and I won. I'm expecting that my cease and desists will be respected, and that I've clearly proven that I came up with my original material when I wasn't enrolled as a student. - However, I have a few remaining questions. Stop pretending to like me, and give me answers that are based on your own self-interest: How much did your people project that my film would bring in re: international students? Tens of millions? If so, then why did you refuse to pay me the $50,000? Because I'm some ghetto trannie that you thought wasn't aware of such things as IP? - I'm sorry that Michelle can't make her film, but I really tried to allow her to do that. Sorry, Meesh, but I can't give away my script for free: I need to live somewhere nicer and that is what VUW could have done for me by paying me fairly. However, you're a writer, so why don't you write your own version? Stephen wrote a version of that story; I wrote a version of that story, so why not you? I don't consider student accommodation or the Lilburn residence a step up. I mean, my boarding house has better insulation than the Lilburn place and I much prefer living with poor adults than poor students. Otherwise, I expect my Māori language skills will eventually result in me getting one of those steady jobs in editing that exist in the public sector.
