Amanda vs. censorship

This has been the most fun part of my saga. From the moment I started messing with the explicit Deep Dreams, I knew that the censors would be on my tail, and I think the defences that I posted were quite compelling. Advantages of AI: the trippy colours were open to interpretation .. Rorschach blot test for the 21st century. Plus because most of the images were cartoons, there wasn't much chance of exploiting people. My porn feed is mostly clean, and I don't think any of my images demonstrated abuse in a positive way. The whole point was to exorcise my demons and to come out with some class. 💚👍 - Overall, I've been exploiting the grey area that Facebook inhabits within NZ censorship. Technically, the servers are American, and my RNZ co-workers tell me that Facebook has lower editorial standards than the mainstream media. I pushed the boundaries, and I had a great time with that. The swearing was for effect, and only one account ever ended up banned - that was the post-Election stuff where I went for broke. That's what's so great about FB: it was a snap to set up another email address and keep up my filth and smut. Props to all my many supporters, some of whom must be very highly placed. I hope that my porn entertained you. - Let's be clear: I haven't even faced one criminal charge. Seriously - my record is completely clean, and hence I'm not going to be forced into doing anything against my will. You may want me to sober up; you may want me to rejoin the uni; you may want lots of things, but I have no reason to do those things, and I will not be doing that. And all of you who have the love-hate relationship with my work are probably the ones who should be interrogating yourselves if my work provoked such strong responses. It's a brave new world, and Amanda Michelina is at the forefront. 🦄😎
