Seriously -- if you don't have the guts to write to me and say 'hey, we want your script' then why shouldn't I say no?


I mean, I was willing to annoy Ms. Swarbrick to get the permissions I wanted for the Dakumentary, so why in the fuck is it that people aren't even willing to write me emails about my scripts? 👋

That wouldn't win me over, but it'd be at least a fair attempt. While blackmailing me is bullshit. - I haven't bugged Tory Whanau yet, but I'm sure there'll come a day where I do that too.


I'd rather like to interview her. That's something I'd be keen for, though I think that she's super-slick with the PR, and I doubt I'd be able to trip her up.


She was very poised about my question at the arts hui, and she's seemed pretty solid on all the media interviews that I've seen. 👍

As for Grant: I'm sure we'd have more to discuss once you leave politics, but while you're a Labour Cabinet Minister, it's sort-of hard to see what we'd have to talk about.


Somehow, I doubt you'd trip up or give me anything juicy as an interviewer, and the upside of my indie studio is that I don't have to interview anyone.


I enjoy your reactions during Question Time, though. I definitely take my cues from you in that space. 👋
