Well, the cartoons certainly are. I take my artsy pursuits seriously, but the cartoons were very fun to make. I think the shorts are fun; which is why the documentary is long, though. What I like about the Dak film is that it has a range of styles and moods, rather than a boring TV docuseries. - I wasn't intentionally baiting anyone with the red lights or any of the symbolism that people interpret onto my cartoons. I randomly shoot footage as part of my practice, and when I was doing the cartoons, the VFX were often a surprise to me as well. Most of the reactions from the fans/enemies totally surprised me. I hadn't intended that, and as I say, it was my twin brother's interview with the Wellington Library which mentioned Company, while I have other favourites. That's just how the dummy titles look on Adobe Premiere Pro, and that cracked me up. The crush on Chloe is very real. I fancy her, but that hardly makes her unique. I'm not that keen to do something about it, despite trolling her. - Honestly, I think the Big Smoke cartoon covered the bases re: who I am and why Amanda is strange. Anyone who was interested probably read my screenplay and felt satisfied by the answers.
