No, I'm not Sondheim's heir. He has no heirs. I'm just a young composer that he was interested in, but we never met. Again, it's the Kiwi kids that went to NY that want to bill me as his heir, not me. I see him as a mentor figure, but in the same way that some of the guitarists who I had masterclasses with were mentors. It's nice that he liked my movie and my demo songs that I was writing in 2021, but that's about it.
