$30 million

Again, it's just staggering how privileged my world is. RNZ was reporting on the Wellington Town Hall, and that's how much the NZSO and VUW are attempting to fundraise. Total cost is projected at $182 million. They probably will raise the $3om as well; so, that's something for Rawiri and co. to chew on when negotiating for the future of Te Matatini. My POV about my pranks is that, even at their most expensive, they were fractions of a percent compared to what my enemies spend on marketing. While, for me, it feels like I've been walking through a minefield of Phantom Billstickers posters from my enemies (and frenemies) all over Wellington for quite a while... I wonder how much a new building would have cost? All those Civic Square buildings were clearly a massive failure from the 1990's Wellington Council, or whoever built those. - Personally, I have major reservations about NZ basing our future film industry off of prospective investment from overseas interests. This is what Sir Peter and Fran did with Park Road and Weta as well, and I don't think those were smooth financial journeys (The Frodo Franchise criticises some of his decisions). It's the short road to becoming another Bulgaria or Prague rather than a place where original creative work by citizens is prized. It's not really my area, though, unless I suddenly start getting hired to score those movies, which wouldn't be the case: foreign directors usually hire foreigners in all the above-the-line roles; which Sir Peter is well aware of, I'm sure.

Amanda's Muppets: where to next?

I've been dreaming for years of a Rabbits-style skit with comedians in foam outfits. Something that matches the surreal vibe of the AI skits.

'Isn't Paul skimming too much off the top?'

Apple Corps and others are pissy that Sir Paul intends to take 50-60% of the profits for Working For Each Other. That's over $70 million USD. His view is that the two of us should split the bulk, giv

Dakumentary on American TV!

That's what Paul tells me. Given that WB-Discovery owned Newshub, it's a cheap deal. $1 million to clear all the non-WB clips, then it'll be on HBO etc. across the world. Apple Corps sold The Dakume
