Look, I liked hanging out with all the musos; it's just that my bad memories of being in the closet far outweigh the positive memories. That lifestyle feels like a straitjacket to me, which is probably why I seldom show up to the gigs. If I move up north, I can reinvent myself properly... that's my belief. - I felt the love, but I also feel like everyone sees me as this arch nostalgist, which irks me. I'm renewing my medical certificate tomorrow, as I'm probably a wee way from being ready to work. The Question Time reviews are general journalism practice, particularly as there's lots of rallies to cover on Parliament Grounds; that's what I've been doing -- I know I don't have a journalism degree, so I figured it was a good idea. I applied for a Radio NZ gig up in Auckland too, which was in the publicity department.
